Cosmin Ifrim

Born in Ineu (Arad), Cosmin Ifrim studied singing and conducting at the Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca. After winning many important competitions, he was engaged to the Vienna State Opera in 2000, where he first sang Lord Cecil within a new production of Donizetti’s Roberto Devereux with Edita Gruberova. John Irvin

Originally a pianist, American tenor John Irvin studied singing at the Georgia State University and Boston University’s Opera Institute. As an alumnus of The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago his many roles included Almaviva in The Barber of Seville, Percy in Anna Bolena and Alfred in Die Fledermaus.


Engagements of the 2017/18 season include his debut at the Metropolitan Opera New York in The Exterminating Angel, his debut in the title


Thomas Moser

Thomas Moser has recently added the role of Herodes in Strauss' Salome to his repertoire, a role which he has most successfully performed at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London (released on DVD and Blu-ray), at the Paris Opera, Peking, Toulouse, and the Vienna State Opera.


Planned new roles include Aegist in Elektra, Aschenbach in Britten's Death in Venice, Loge in Das Rheingold and Hauptmann in Wozzeck.

Eamonn Mulhall

Irish tenor Eamonn Mulhall studied Music and French Literature in Dublin before continuing his studies at the Royal College of Music and the National Opera Studio in London. Michael Spyres

Michael Spyres was born in Mansfield (Missouri) where he grew up in a family of musicians. He began his studies in the U.S.A. and continued them at the Vienna Conservatory.


Mr Spyres first sprang to international attention in 2008 in the title role of Rossini's Otello at the Rossini in Wildbad Festival and as an ensemble member of Deutsche Oper Berlin where he made his debut as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte.
